- The Center for Research on the Family was established at the University of Washington to promote innovative social science research on the family and the behavior of individuals in families. The Center hosts a distinguished speaker series and organizes focused workshops intended to encourage discussion and research collaboration across disciplinary boundaries.
- The Economic Policy Research Center (EPRC) is a forum for economic policy discussions vital to the Northwest. The purpose is to engage public and private sector stakeholders with University of Washington faculty to clarify and improve economic content of public policy.
- The Research Center for International Economics, established at the University of Washington in November 2001, aims at promoting research on international economics, encouraging interactions among economists in the world especially those in the Asia Pacific region, and helping the advancement of the frontiers of knowledge in this important field of economics.
